We have selected four strategic environments to integrate into AppleTalk:  Digital Equipment networks, IBM networks, OSI standards -based networks, and TCP/IP-based networks, which are mostly in the UNIX environment.  With this integration we will continue to deliver AppleTalk‚Äôs unique value to Macintosh users, while reconciling its proprietary aspects with the standardization that‚Äôs required in a multivendor environment.
